I like to mix it up when I get dressed to go out. I’m so used to seeing the same style dresses or bodysuits on the dance floor and I’d hate to be the one caught standing there under the lights with a girl I don’t looking her twin.
I’m really into high-waist denim shorts, of which I wear with almost everything, but I didn’t want to take the typical crop top or bodysuit route with these either. So, here’s my stab at making high-waist denim shorts look a tad bit more sophisticated + I thought of a good way to help beat the cold up top while staying true to the unwritten nightlife attire rule #1: showing skin!
I paired my favorite distressed denim shorts with a tight fitting pair of fringe shorts underneath to add length and character to what could have been an otherwise basic look.
Normally, I’d wear this zip-up suede black top with jeans for a day at work but I thought to pair with my Levis and it actually looks great along with the added fringe to make my look cohesive! Like I said before, this top also helps me stay relatively warm while roaming the cool night streets.
To top it off, I always, always will pair shoes that set off my look and take it to the next level! That’s exactly what happens here with these silver metallic, oil-slick style pumps I adore from my new favorite shoe boutique Twelve Am!
Twelve Am has a popping selection of heels that will keep you hot like fire, even after having been out all night long. When 12AM strikes you’re still killing it- well,at least your shoes will be! And, that’s all that matters! lol
